Jovana Novoselski, Pilates + bodyART®
Jovana’s love for Pilates came as a natural flow from Latin and traditional dancing in early childhood. For the shy little girl, movement was the only way to express herself, her feelings, and thoughts, without saying a word. Jovana knew that the world of movement would be her world.
Around the same time, Jovana moved to Belgrade, Serbia, pursuing a degree in Nutrition, she heard about Pilates. Jovana began practicing it and has enjoyed the experience of it ever since. She is a certified MK Pilates instructor, for both mat and equipment. She has also completed coursework for Booty Barre, Iyengar Yoga and bodyART school by Robert Steinbacher.
Jovana moved to Chicago in June 2017, and is currently pursuing the BASI Pilates school certification. Her commitment and constant inspiration to improve her knowledge comes from people she trains. During her movement sessions, she is trying to achieve what her first dance teacher has done for her: offer support in a form of baby steps that eventually turn into the large steps for an individual. Her goal is to enjoy this journey and infuse joy in others along the way.
Zoe Hunter received a dual degree in Modern Dance & Biology from the University of New Mexico. She received her yoga certification through Yoga Loft here in Chicago, with a focus on Vinyasa and Ashtanga-style yoga.
