In light of the Golden Globes this past Sunday, this bloggy post is dedicated to every person who watched the red carpet pre-shows thinking, “Why can’t my arms be toned like Halle Berry’s?!” Well, it stinks, but celebrities have a lot more time, money, and, um, time to keep their bodies in tip-top shape. When you really think about it, would you even want to spend multiple hours a day with a trainer anyway? UM, no. But what you can do is follow in the footsteps of those fantastic-looking celebs who swear by Pilates!
Jennifer Aniston and Madonna are just two celebrities constantly getting written up for how fantastic they look for their age. And their usual answer to the “favorite workout” questions? Pilates! Aniston has said, “I’m a Pilates person. It’s great. I had a hip problem. I had a chronic back, a pinched nerve and a hip problem and it’s completely solved all of it. I love it. It makes me feel like I’m taller.”
Between work, kids, etc. etc. it’s understandable that there are a million reasons why you can’t make it in for class today. BUT, taking the hour out for yourself will not only energize you to accomplish your daily to-do list, it will help you feel and look better, too. Just imagine, by Golden Globes 2012 you could be giving Halle Berry a run for her money!
