First Aid/CPR Certification

CPR/First Aid for Instructors:

Date: Friday, January 21st
Time: CPR 2:30-4:30pm / First Aid 4:30-6pm
Cost: $55 for CPR / $45 for First Aid / $70 for both

This course is designed for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities. You will learn: CPR, AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use, relief of choking in adults and children, as well as use of barrier devices. Additional course contents included general principles, medical emergencies, and injury emergencies. A two-year American Heart Association certification card is included.

Community CPR/First Aid:

Date: Saturday, February 5th
Time: 1-3:30pm
Cost: $25

This course will teach you how to perform CPR on adults, infants and children, as well as AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use. You will also learn how to manage illness and injuries in adults and children for the first few minutes of an emergency until professional help arrives. Topics such as preventing injuries, recognizing and treating basic first aid emergencies and relief of choking in adults, infants and children will be covered.
